(Auditions for AMTC...12 yrs. old)
and played with these...
and bought adopted this little guy (no, he's not a rat, he's a hamster)
and only wore dresses (literally)....
and played with Barbies...
and went to Idols live...
and bit my nails...
and played with Webkinz...
and despised wearing jeans...
and had absolutely no curves (pants would NOT stay up, people!)
and was flat as a blueberry pancake...
Do you remember the days when you were ashamed of almost nothing. You didn't care about your legs being shaved, you didn't care about wearing a bra, you didn't care about wearing makeup, you didn't care about doing everything in a dress and a dress only.
But then somewhere down the line.....you grow up. You start looking at the details of yourself and perfecting them. And then once you're older and look back at the old you, you think, "Wow, I don't see how I didn't wear makeup!"
We all grow up someday.
You were beautiful then, as you are now, Anna! :) Madison is only 10, but she's starting to outgrow her toys and wanting to shop more and asking for makeup and perfume. It's fun watching my girls grow up though and I pray for them what I pray for you......that you will always see how beautiful you are, just the way God made you. And of course, there is nothing wrong with having fun being a girl! I love makeup and jewelry and all that fun stuff!
ReplyDeleteNo kidding...
