how society has molded us

Society has the idea that...
The skinnier you are, the prettier you are...

Girls should have boyfriends and begin dating at a young age...

Girls at age nine are old enough to cake on makeup...

"Sexy" is better than "Pretty"...

Producing sexual magazines, like Cosmopolitan, are OK to read...

Pregnancy before marriage is completely normal...

It is the mother's right to abort her baby; "My body, my right."...

Young teen couples are "old enough" to lock lips...

Texting 24/7 is apparently the cool thing to do...

Using profane and crude language is acceptable...

We should be who we want to be.

It is pretty safe to say that our society has become dangerously corrupt, no? Since we are unable to stop all the mess around us, allow me to leave you with this simple piece of advice:

Do not fall into the temptation of society.

"And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil." Matthew 6:13 {From the Lord's Prayer}

  4. Yes! You speak truth!
So many girls think that they have to have a boyfriend at a young age....it is really ridiculous. I mean, if you're not planning on getting married at fifteen why even get involved?!?

It's up to us to preserve some decent standards. *shoulders pack*

  5. Beautifully stated my dear! We are to be in the world, but NOT of the world, to be set apart for the cause of Christ.

Blessings, always a joy to stop by.

  6. This post is sooooo true!

I think it is so sad how many girls get pregnant before marriage. I mean, come'on! When they actually DO meet the right guy, it puts pressure on the relationship. And it is even sadder how many of them abort their baby without a second thought. Yes, they did something wrong but the baby that came out of that sin does NOT need to pay for it!! :(

Our world is SO sad. We just recently watched a movie called. "Indoctrination" (I think thats the right name) about public schools, how they changed for the worse..etc.. its really interesting.

Okay, the whole teen locking lips, where in the world did society get that into the 'okay to do' group that is so MESSED up...like everything else you listed.

Keep writing these posts Anna and let your voice be heard.

  9. Thank you so much for this, Anna! It's so good to see someone else standing up against these things, because we as Christians are not supposed to conform with the ways of the world! You go girl. :)

  11. I agree with you. Okay, Okay, I'm sixteen and have a boyfriend. BUT if I could go back.. I would have stayed just friends. I believe that God is okay with us being together as long as we stay pure, but that doesn't mean I think that everyone should be dating my now.

    Love always,
