I don't feel any older nor do I look any older, but I am sixteen.
My day started off with my mom making breakfast, logging on facebook and seeing all of the "Happy Birthday!" notifications, getting phone calls, and a gift from my parents. Around noon though, two very special packages came in the mail. The first was a shoulder strapped bag from my grandparents and the second was my 50mm lens.
I screamed a little, took some photos, and immediately fell in love with it. The picture above? It was taken with it (and it's sooc!). It's pretty wonderful.
The rest of the day has consisted of swimming, keeping a friend's kitten company, continually getting happy flutteries when I kept remembering, "Oh yeah! I have the 50mm!", and in a bit, I will be having supper over at my MeeMaw's house.
It has been a good day.
