the light of afternoon

Good lighting is definitely a biggie when it comes to photography. Any photographer will tell you that. Typically, afternoon lighting is not my cup of tea because of the brightness. But today? Goodness gracious - I could have eaten it for lunch.

 oh, hello rachael.

It also was the ideal day to experiment with aperture (#thankyoupioneerwoman)...

And while experimenting, why not throw in some glitter as well?

Conclusion: The self portraits ended in my jeans covered in glitter and mud on my Toms. But it was worth it. Today was a good day.

p.s. thoughts on the new design? yea or nay?

  1. Gorgeous photos, Anna! I love them. You are so pretty, too.

I like the design alright, but it isn't my favorite. Not a fan of the colors.
