Longing for the Seashore

  Only in my mind...

I can smell the saltiness of the air, hear the sea gulls cawing, feel the wind blowing through my hair, sand against my feet, beating of the waves, chilliness as I step indoors from the beach.

Oh my. I'm giving myself happy butterflies inside. Since I was seven years old, my whole family and I vacation at the beautiful Folly Beach which is connected to Charleston. I'm telling you, nothing gets much closer to paradise than that little island.
I look forward to taking evening walks on the beach and pier, pretending I'm a mermaid in the ocean with my cousin, making sand castles, visiting downtown Charleston, just waking up and knowing I'm there.

And very shortly -- I will be there.
