Oh the Things You'll Do...

...On a Saturday morning.

Actually, I have had quite a productive morning...well... on the computer that is. I cleaned out ALL of my drafts...

And learned how to take a screen shot while I was at it! I feel oh so very smart.


It is now 12:00 and wow - North Carolina is in for yet another huge storm. The sky is dark, it raining and the wind is starting to get a bit heavy. Luckily our neighbors have a furnished crawl space in case things start getting nasty. Swoon.

A Sweetened Saturday

This afternoon my family and I took a rode trip (as in a fifteen minute one) to High Point. While Daddy and Drake (my brother) contently waited in Barnes and Noble with their noses stuck in books, Mom and I headed to High Point's *cough cough* ghost mall and did a teensy bit of early Spring shopping.

After about an hour and a half of shopping, we thought that Starbucks sounded like the ideal place to go to. Know what's even better? We found out when we got there that they were giving out free cake pops until 5:00 with any purchase of a coffee!

We then headed over to Krispy Kreme (enough with the sugar, right?) and each used a coupon for a free doughnut...

How have you spent this lovely Saturday?

Winter Jam!!!

Hi everyone! Last night, my friends Kiley, Beth, Breanna, and Taylor went with my mom, her friend Jenny, and me to a christian concert called Winter Jam. It was SOOOO much fun! We sat in some seats really close to the stage, but we were facing the side. It was really good though, because while each band would get ready to go on the stage, we would wave to some of them and they'd wave back! Eeeek! The artists that were there were Fireflight, Newsboys (the best and the hottest even though they're like in their 30's, 40's, & 50's), Newsong, Robert Pierre, Revive (another hot band...hee hee), Third Day, 10th Avenue North, Sidewalk Prophets, and speaker Tony Nolan. The best part of all though, is that we got autographs from Newsboys! Whoo hoo! The bassist said I was "cool" and Michael Tait (the new lead singer) signed his name with a ♥. Yay! Today is Saturday. My favorite day of the week. No school. Either a day where we sometimes go out places...or a day where we just stay at home and stare at the computer all day. it seems like yesterday I was putting up Michael Jackson as an avatar. Hello everyone and happy Saturday! Sorry I am so late posting this, but we have been busy all day. First, we went to Dillard's so I could do a modeling contest (that was really crappy) not as great as we expected...the lady who took my picture wasn't even a photographer. Anyway...after that we all went to Office Depot to look for a computer. Unfortunately, the computer we wanted had already been sold; so we drove over to an Office Depot in Winston-Salem and found the exact one we had been wanting (yay!). After that, we went to the bank and came home.
