Well happy Memorial Day a day late. I hope that you all had a good one. I know I did! We went to some friends' house yesterday to celebrate along with a little over a hundred people. Most of the other families there were from the home-school group I go to.
Even though a snake appeared and made everybody run and scream during testimonies, a girl and I got stung by fire ants, I got badly sun burnt, two people had bad gashes on their heads (one needed stitches!), it rained off and on, everybody was soak'n wet, and someone accidentally got shot during the BB-gun tournament (Joking), we still had a ton of fun even though it didn't sound like it.
Ok, let's go to the good side of things that we did yesterday. We did the zip-line, jumped on the trampoline and played a game called 'dead man', used a porta-pottie *cough cough*, did an awesome scavenger hunt, rode scooters and raced down the curvy driveway, and we had homemade ice cream!

Well for Memorial day we went over to a friends' house and had a BBQ. She just bought a spa so we let the kiddos play in it.

Oh lucky you! I wish that I had never been stung. I think that it might be infected now......ugh. But hopefully rubbing alchohol on it/ointment will help it. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is SOOOO funny!!! It sounds like sooo much fUn!! I just stayed at home on Memorial Day. Well my family did eat out.. That was about it... But there was no school so it was an okay-day!
