Anyway...
To put this story into a much shorter, condensed version:
This morning around 7:00, my dad saw something on the hood of his truck. He brought inside a Pet's Mart box, pretzel sticks {for small animals}, and two notes which implied something was in it. I was still in bed but saw some lights on in our den and heard my mom squeal. A little while later I forced myself out of bed to see what was going on. It turned out there was a rat in the Pet's Mart box. Yes, a rat. Two of my dad's students played a prank and set on my dad's truck....(come on, say it with me...) a rat.
Conclusion: We now have a rat. However, we are currently fostering it and it may have a new home tomorrow. Yayhoo.
Meet Martin Luther King Jr. (what he was apparently named by the two students):
Personally, I think he is absolutely precious! We just can't keep him though because we don't really have anywhere to put his humongous cage and he will cost too much to keep up.
The end.

Also, I am entering my sweet friend, Lucia's photo contest! The theme is "the little things" which is right up my alley because I enjoy photographing itty bitty, charming things.
A lonesome feather.

How has your week been, lovelies?
